30 SEPTEMBERMEDIA UPDATE – WATERSKI RACING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS TELECAST THIS SUNDAY
The first of three domestic ‘free to air’ telecasts for the 2011 World Waterski Racing Championships, from Moreton Bay, Queensland, airs this Sunday October 2 on SBS at 12:30 PM Eastern Standard Time.
This Sunday’s screening includes a full one hour highlights package of the MEN’S OPEN and F2 classes, as part of SBS’s regular motorsports destination ‘Speedweek.’
On Sunday October 9, at the same time, the WOMEN’S OPEN and F2 classes will air, with the JUNIOR classes being telecast exactly a week later on October 16 – again at 12:30 PM.
In addition to three, weekly national screenings on Speedweek, will be highlight packages on ‘Inside Speed’ running on the SPEED Cable TV network, beginning on Friday October 7 at 8:30 PM. Inside Speed will again begin with the MEN’S classes of racing, before featuring the WOMEN’S and JUNIOR categories in the successive weeks on October 14 and 21; both at 8:30 PM.
